Who We Are
Keegan Property Management LLC is a company owned and operated by Trevor and Elizabeth Keegan. We are a husband and wife team that happened
into the real estate business by chance.
When we first met, we both owned our own homes in the Kansas City suburb of Lenexa, Kansas. After we
got engaged, we were deciding what to do with our houses and Trevor convinced Elizabeth that renting out one house while living in the other
would be the best option. We got our start with that first house, and after several years of successfully renting that house out, we decided
that we should continue to build our business and purchase additional properties. Each of us brings unique qualities and skills to the company.
Trevor is the handyman and property manager while Elizabeth lends her design expertise to any new improvement or remodeling projects that we
decide to take on, in addition to handling the finances. And while Elizabeth will claim that she is also the 'boss', that is actually a role that we share.
What We Do
The goal of our company is to provide high quality housing at an affordable price for our clients. We realize that some people prefer renting
versus owning for many reasons, such as the stress free feeling of knowing that if something goes wrong, like the water heater or air conditioner
stops working, it will be taken care of. Another added benefit of renting is the consistency of knowing how much your housing is going to cost from
month to month as well as the flexibility to move due to job changes or other unforeseen events. And yet we realize that even though people may choose
to rent, they still want to have a nice house that is aesthetically pleasing. Just because you don't own your house doesn't mean you don't enjoy watching
HGTV and having the nice kitchen or bathroom. Because of this, we pride ourselves on taking great care of our properties and investing money back into
our properties to make our tenants feel at home. We also know one of the things renters are trying to avoid is yard work, which is why all of our properties
include lawn care and snow removal as part of our contract. It is just one of the many things we do to make our tenant's time at our property as easy as
